Children’s Online Photography Course FAQs

Do I need to have a good camera?

No you don’t! All you need is any camera and this can be an SLR, compact digital or just a phone camera (over 80 per cent of the children on the last course only used a camera phone and took extraordinary photos, as you can see from the photos on this website).

What safeguarding parameters are in place?

Jonathan is DBS checked and is a leading family and child photographer who has photographed over 100 families in the past four years.

All the Cultivating Wonder team are DBS checked (two being mums) and a virtual assistant will be on-hand to help ensure that that the course runs smoothly. The VA has over 20 years of experience and is a mother herself, as are two of the other core members of the team.

We also have a safeguarding policy in place, which can be found at the bottom of the website in the footer.

Does my child need any prior knowledge about photography?

In a nutshell, no! All that is required is an openness to learn and a willingness to take photos.

What if I miss a session?

The course is taught via Teachable, which means you can do it at your own pace in your own time by logging in to your Cultivating Wonder classroom. You have lifetime access to the course!
